Discovering myself

Hi, my name is Lisa Benjamin Erez. I am a mother to 3 beautiful young women, a wife to an amazing husband and a mother to Tut, our gorgeous Pekingese mix dog.
We live in the picturesque town of Zichron Ya’acov (meaning ‘In memory of Jacob”. Learn more about my town here) on the southern point of the Carmel mountain range, south of Haifa.

My love story with Acrylic Pouring & Resin Art began not so long ago. For several years I have been following this type of art on YouTube and I found it enthralling to watch.
In May 2020 I went through a difficult period and was in a pretty low emotional state. I was looking for something that would help me out of this low feeling, something new that would lift my spirits.
One morning I woke up and decided to try acrylic pouring.
Today, acrylic pouring is a part of me, a part of my day-to-day life. It is a gift that makes me feel happy. I enjoy everything about it, the learning, the planning, the stages of preparation, the work itself. Lots of colour on my clothes and the floor, in my hair, and some back pain from bending over.
Lots of hours of creation give me the feeling of joy and pleasure. All my life since I can remember I have been involved in design, graphic design, web design, this is basically the heart of my business today.
Acrylic Pouring Art is the first time I am doing art for the sake of art.
I am discovering and developing aspects within myself that even I did not know existed in me. I’m very happy to share with you and give you a glimpse into my new world of paint pouring and fluid art.
